1983 MARSHALL JCM 800 2204 Tube Amp Head

Up for sale is a rockin Marshall JCM - NOT A REISSUE. This is the one everyone wants. Vertical inputs, metal toggles, Drake transformers. 2EL34's = 50 watts of crushing power. This thing is seriously LOUD. Sounds wicked though. Previous owner had a green indicator light installed but I have a new red one if you want to put it back to stock. Also, the cabinet was recovered at some point. Looks amazing though and no tears or rips at all. A few tiny scuffs, but what can you expect from a vintage amp? Works 100%. JJ tubes I believe. Canadian version has 4 and 8 ohm taps only BTW. Standard issue. No mods, no loop, no reverb, none of that craziness - just pure rock and roll from this thing. If you haven't already tried it, a nice vintage Marshall can roll back the volume really well and produce some surprising cleans. Then roll it back up and you're in business. Add a boost and you're in hard rock/metal territory.
