1981 BC RICH Eagle Bass Guitar

1981 BC Rich Eagle Standard made in L.A. California USA. Features include: 1) Construction - neck-thru (one piece) design; 2) Composition - Tiger Maple (aka. Flame), Mahogany & Koa; 3) Fret-board - Brazilian Rosewood; 4) Pickups - original 4P; 5) Controls - Basic volume, treble, bass, blend w/6 way tonal toggle & 3 clip switches; 6) Comes with brand new Yorkville Sound Hard-shell case. What's wrong: The bass is 31 years old; there are dings & some raised action; broken original jack plate replaced with brass; forward strap pin moved & reset; two control knobs are missing there synthetic cosmetic cap. What's right: The bass is 31 years old; the range of tonal capability is immense (from butterflies to bazookas); the original electronics are in working order; it is a work of art. Final note. Please be advised that this instrument is not in perfect shape. As mentioned it is 31 years old (older than some of you) and has some wear & tear. If you are looking for a vintage instrument in mint condition this is not the guitar for you. It is however an instrument of impeccable artistry and rare to find. This was a dream to play. Because of this instrument I am a BC Rich bass fan for life. From the exotic woods, proprietary composition, engineering, electronics, smooth feel & wicked capability this vintage instrument is beautiful to look at and play.
