1969 SUNN Solarus Tube Amp Head






A very lovely piece old gear that I'd love to hang onto, but it needs a little love, and I just don't think I'll ever get around getting it back to 100% functionality. It sounds great as is, but it could definitely use replacement tubes. A previous owner modified the reverb section to an overdrive (it's actually hard to find an un-modded Solarus head). At the time the amp was made, Sunn did not install a power cable with a ground, so I can suggest having that switched over for precautionary purposes. Overall, this thing is pretty damn cool! 60 tube watts, built-in vibrato, bright/normal inputs, polarity switch.
