For sale ( no trades please ) is a 1987
Gibson Les Paul custom guitar which has been occasionally played but is
in terrific shape. It comes with all the gold hardware and
the custom top quality hardshell form fitting Gibson case. The action is
low to the fretboard and as all true Gibson fans are aware, nostalgia
aside, the 80's Les Pauls were much better made than the 70's models and
also sound better. This one has killer tone.

E4 serial number neck dated to April 1987
pots dated to 1984. This is a very early American Standard. When CBS was
sold to the new FMIC. These "new" Standards put Fender on the Map
again. The original colour was Olympic white but has aged to a beautiful
cream colour. Everything is original except the saddles have been
changed to Vintage style Calaham's (I have the originals) along with a
Calaham block. And the pickups have been upgraded to David Allen CS
Austin Blues. Comes with the original Fender hard case. And recent pro
setup.
