1950 GIBSON J45 Acoustic Guitar

This guitar’s FON is 4443 21. So according to my research, it’s a 1950 model. There have been some repairs done on the back, which you can see in the photos. I’m selling this guitar on behalf of a someone else. Her husband, the previous owner, has passed away and she is ready to sell his music gear. All parts are original with one possible exception: the headstock appears to have been painted on the back (see pic) so it’s difficult to tell whether it’s the original. I love the guitar’s tone. It’s a bit less resonant than I expected, perhaps due to the repairs on the back. This guitar has definitely been played! The finish on the top has been worn down around the pickguard.

1979 GIBSON ES-335

One of the last of the ES-335s made at the original Gibson factory in Kalamazoo. They just don't make them like this anymore. Amazing build quality that older gibsons are known for. This guitar is all-original save for the tuners which were upgraded to high-end grovers at the guitar shop by the original owner. Everything else is original from the factory: pickups, hardware, wiring and coil tap switch. The guitar is in 9.5/10 condition, the only imperfections are a couple surface dings here and there that don't even go through the finish. Guitar stays in tune perfectly and sounds incredible. The pickups are PAF-model gibsons for that classic tone: beautiful deep cleans and clear articulate overdrive. Medium sized neck, minimal fret wear and very low action. I have never played a guitar with the action this low and no fret buzz. Cherry finish and block inlays so the guitar looks as classy as it sounds. The hardshell case is included.
