NEVER altered in any way; no cracks, breaks, chips, repairs, refret, or even fret dressing. The neck, tuners, pickups, bridge, pots, pick guard, screws, and wiring are all original. The neck is straight, with FAST action, and it sounds like only an old strat can sound. It has been used extensively, but gently, so there`s lots of vintage patina and vibe, but minimal fret wear. Fender case included.

I bought this guitar in 2007 from its second owner who had bought in 1978. She did not travel too much and spent several years in its case. You can see from the pictures it carries traces of time and lost its original color, "Natural Relic" I made refretté a pro luthier when I bought it, the handle is nickel and easy. Switch has three positions and pickups are original, it is a strat made for Rock, Blues ...

This is a 1977 start. Not quite all
original. The tuning pegs, and nut were replaced by the previous owner. I
recently had the guitar refretted with jumbos. Plays really nicely now.

E4 serial number neck dated to April 1987
pots dated to 1984. This is a very early American Standard. When CBS was
sold to the new FMIC. These "new" Standards put Fender on the Map
again. The original colour was Olympic white but has aged to a beautiful
cream colour. Everything is original except the saddles have been
changed to Vintage style Calaham's (I have the originals) along with a
Calaham block. And the pickups have been upgraded to David Allen CS
Austin Blues. Comes with the original Fender hard case. And recent pro
setup.

I have for sale/trade a 1979 Fender
Stratocaster electric guitar. Very vintage and very clean for a 34 year
old guitar. The guitar is all original with the exception of a refret
and a changed nut. Excellent
pickups, clean sounding pots, straight neck very few blemishes. Classic
fender sound and rosewood fretboard. I am the second owner and I know
the guitar was well taken care of. I am interested in a trade or a sale,
looking for other vintage and modern high end guitars (Fender
(especially JV strats), Gibson, PRS, Martin, Taylor etc..). Please no
amps, low end guitars, lowball offers or trades for like 3 mexican
strats. Open to cash +/- deals for the right guitar.
