1960's KENT 'Basin Street' Electric Bass









For sale is this mid 60s Kent 'Basin Street' model bass. This particular bass is all original with the exception of an old metallic red refinish (which in my opinion looks nicer than the stock redburst finish), and period correct teisco replacement knobs. For reasons beyond me, a previous owner felt it necessary to apply masking tape to the sides of the instrument; I've attempted to remove as much of it as possible, but as seen in the pictures a bit still remains. The pots are a little scratchy and the tuners are a little tough to move, but that's to be expected from a teisco of this era.
