1967 FENDER Bassman Tube Amp Head

 

 

You have to own a classic  Vintage Fender point to point wired (no circuit board!) all tube amp. This stock amp(cord update only) is the preferred AB-165 circuit. Idles dead quiet and gives wonderfull tone when asked. 50watts@8ohms . I own two ,so tis the season of giving I guess? Were talking 45yrs old and a steal in comparison to most new amps! Really a joy to hear......

Re-tubed last year at Steve's (missing master volume control and vibrato pedal). Amp is in tip-top shape, is well-biased. All four original 10" Alnico Speakers!!! (not the ceramics and not replacements).

1971 FENDER Super Reverb Amp - Silverface

This 1971 Fender Super Reverb is in excellent cosmetic and functional condition. It comes complete with original foot-switch, a cover and Fender tilt back legs. Amp has been completely re-capped with Orange Drops and Sprague Atoms for the main filter caps. All transformers original. Speakers were upgraded by previous owner to Fender 35watt alnicos that are a significant improvement over the originals. New JJ power tubes and new rectifier tube. Grille cloth and Tolex in excellent shape.

70's FENDER Bassman Ten Amp - Silverface

I bought this in a pawnshop in Toronto about ten or so years ago . It's a 74 or 76 I believe .nice sounding amp It's definitely seen some smokey bars in its day ,its in the same shape as when I bought it . It's rough looking and could be restored to be an awesome amp , I just don't have the $ to put into it ( probably could use a set of new tubes , but sounds great as it is) Great clean tube tone.

1969 FENDER Twin Reverb - Silverface

This is a Canadian issued 1969 Silverface Fender Twin Reverb model that I acquired nearly 11 years ago.  No master volume, has the early "Twin Reverb -Amp" faceplate, original speakers, as well as the coveted "drip edge" (aluminum trim that goes around the speaker grill cloth) only available on '68 and '69 models.  Everything is in well working order.  Has the usual light wear and patina that's to be expected in a piece of this age. It's been a great amp and it's served it's role well over the years, but I find myself playing a lot more bass these days and wouldn't mind freeing up some cash for other gear.

FENDER Twin Reverb Amp - Silverface

Vintage Silverface Fender Twin Reverb. At 135 watts of power, this amp is a cannon, with lots of clean headroom and plenty of punch. The original speakers are in excellent condition. It has a good new grounded power cord, and comes with the original footswitch, an amp cover, optional tilt-back legs, and casters. A good strong matched quad of 6L6GC tubes is powering it, and all of the preamp tubes are tested and good. A nice clean example of a hand-wired vintage Fender Silverface Twin. Sounds great and kicks a*ss.

Fender Super Reverb amplifier 1969 (AB763 Circuit). It's really an amazing amplifier. It has been completely adjusted by Michel at Amptek. The original speakers were replaced with summers Eminence Legend 1028K (a modification worth $400). I'll include a cover for Super Reverb, the Footswitch (Tremolo / Reverb) and invoice Amptek. This is a vintage amp with incredible sound, it has been completely refurbished and is ready to be played.

1976 FENDER Vibro Champ - Silverface

Selling a 76 Vibro Champ. Has a Jensen Alnico speaker, upgraded grounded 3 prong power cord, footswitch to activate the tremolo/vibrato.
Tubes are JJ 6V6, NOS RCA rectifier tube, and some vintage preamp tubes.

Works great, and sounds awesome. Has a few bumps and tears in the Tolex, but all are very minor marks.
