1974 Traynor YBA-3 Custom Special. This serious bad boy makes a stupendous guitar amp. This is the coveted Master-Volume version. It is rated at 130 watts clean sine wave. The preamp distortion is top notch, the tone shaping controls are excellent, it is hand wired, with GIANT original Hammond transformers. It has a vintage power tube set that is matched up and strong, all of the preamp tubes are tested and good, and it has a muffin fan underneath to keep the power tubes cool. Asking $750.
1972 YBA-1 Bass Master. Hand wired. Conservatively rated at 45 watts RMS. Cloth-covered wiring. Grounded power cord. Original Hammond Transformers. Original 1960's Plexi-style circuit that can be jumpered for additional gain. All of the tubes are tested and good, and it runs perfectly. Asking $550.
Vintage 1969 Traynor YBA-2B Bass Mate. This is the rare 6V6 power tube version. Hand-wired. Around 20 watts of power. All original circuit. Original Hammond transformers. Original 15" speaker in excellent condition. What is unique about this amp is that there is only one triode (tube stage) in the preamp, which goes through the tone tank and volume control straight into a Fender Tweed type phase inverter, which, unlike typical long-tail phase inverters, doesn't flat-line clip. This means this amp distorts harmonically, and most of the distortion comes from the power tubes. As a result, it is very touch sensitive, and plays clean when you pick lightly, and crunches up as you pick harder. Put a reverb in front of it, and it sounds sweet even at full volume. One of my all-time favourite tube amps. The condition of this one is exceptionally fabulous. Even the original chrome metal logo is still intact. Heavy-duty grounded power cord included. Asking $650.
1975 Traynor YGL-3 Mark 3 Combo in Excellent Condition. Rated conservatively at 80 watts RMS, but clearly punches more. Best known as a Fender Twin on steroids, with good reason. Amazing tone and power. Hand wired. HUGE original Hammond transformers. New filter capacitors (replaced Jan. 27, 2013). All new power tubes (replaced Jan.16, 2013). All of the preamp tubes are tested and good. All pots, jacks, switches, and tube sockets serviced (Jan. 16, 2013). The factory original Eminence speakers are in great condition. I reduced the value of the bright switch capacitor to tame the brightness (originally was enough to kill small animals), and updated the reverb circuit to the 1976 specification, which was a significant improvement. The tremolo is excellent. This is a killer guitar amp. Casters are included. Asking $750.
