1940's KAY K48 Archtop Acoustic
Chicago made acoustic archtop. Solid carved spruce top with flamed maple back & sides. HUGE sound! Gorgeous guitar in excellent condition. Great for traditional and gipsy jazz, folk, blues, western swing... Comes with vintage Dearmond FHC floating pickup(300$ value).

I don't think thats a K48
ReplyDeleteI see this post is old. I just bought what was represented to me as a K-46 which looks very much like yours.Exception is the head stock inlay. Mine has KAY inlaid vertically between the "flags" and the tail piece is different. Great guitar, spruce top, laminated sides and back with flame maple veneer.
