1961 GIBSON Falcon Tube Amp

As far as the sound is concerned; this amp is something else!  It is about 15 watts of beautiful tweed tone with awesome crunchy breakup.  This amp is killer. An extremely rare (only 204 of them made) and legendary tone monster; a 1961 Gibson Falcon Tweed Tube Amp 19RVT, in excellent condition cosmetically and functionally it has been fully serviced for this sale by my amp tech rather than a store (a couple of new caps, all the wiring and soldering has been checked) and it sounds fantastic!  It has a grounded 3-pronged cord, a new 12" Weber Speaker, and the original footswitch which works fine.  The tremolo is fine (and so lush), and the reverb sounds great   The original reverb tank was not working when I got the amp so I had a Mod reverb tank installed.  If you want I will include the original. I had it recovered very recently in tweed (real tweed) since it had a non-original black tolex when I got it.  The grill cloth is tight without rips, the faceplate is in great condition. I have the back cover but took it off for the pics.

$1600
