1967 HARMONY Monterey H1325 Archtop Guitar

This is a vintage 1967 Harmony Monterey H1325 Archtop guitar Grand Auditorium size in the red sunburst pattern - the second guitar I ever bought, a one owner guitar and it is in great shape, near mint. For a guitar its age only a very few scuffs and there is no fret wear. The action is low, there is plenty of adjustment left, it's all original and it plays like a dream. Top end Harmonies like this do not appear for sale very often. The following paragraph is from the Harmony catalogue: “Monterey guitars are arched of carefully selected hardwoods. Top and back body edges are celluloid bound. Ovalled fingerboards have bone nut, position markers. Adjustable ebonized bridges permit variation of string height. Celluloid quardplates. Nickel plated tailpieces. Dependable machine heads for accurate tuning. Beautifully finished, excellent tone." Monterey Grand Auditorium size, 16'4 x 41 in.  Arched spruce top model, in strikingly highlighted polished finish. Celluloid bound edges, neat inlay on top edge. Ovalled fingerboard, with bound edges. Shell pickguard, adjustable bridge, hinged tailpiece.” This is not a plywood guitar, it was produced from solid wood and unlike most older guitars - this on has an adjustable truss rod. If you want more information on this guitar just Google: Harmony Database and look up the H1325. You can find some videos on You Tube.
